A 67-year-old man rescued from the burning wreck of his car is now in a stable condition in hospital, a police spokesman said.
The man, who was hauled from the silver Volkswagen Golf after it crashed on the A4300, close to the A44 on Monday morning, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with suspected neck and back injuries and facial injuries. He is expected to be in hospital for up to two weeks.
