TO SOME people our Badvent day 14 suspect is Abdelkaren Arressia. Others call him Belgassim Araissia and then there’s those who know him as Abdul Raesea.
But all police officers want to know is where he is.
The 24-year-old Algerian, right, is suspected of burgling a cafe in Oxford and detectives are now hoping that after his Badvent appearance today someone will come forward with a tip-off that will lead them to him.
He has questions to answer after an intruder got into Café Tarifa in Cowley Road through a smashed window on October 2.
Sometime between 3.15am and 11am, an intruder helped themselves to two iPods, two laptops and a substantial amount of cash.
Already two Badvent suspects have been arrested and charged after Oxford Mail readers spotted them out on the streets and handed over useful information to police officers.
Now they are hoping that Arressia becomes the third successful Badvent appeal in our crime countdown which aims to help collar suspects in time for Christmas.
Pc Kern Langley said: “Arressia uses several similar names, including Belgassim Araissia, Abdelkaren Arressia and Abdul Raesea.
“He is an Algerian national and speaks with a foreign accent. He is 5ft 5ins tall, slim, clean shaven with short, straight black hair and brown eyes.”
Anyone with information that could help police track down Arressia is asked to contact Pc Langley on the non-emergency number, 101. If you don’t want to speak to police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555111.
