N OXON: A primary school was forced to close yesterday after it is believed a parent drove into an electricity pole and cut the power off.
Five Acres Primary School, in Blackthorn Road, Ambrosden, closed shortly after 9am.
Electricity was reinstated shortly before 11am and the school is expected to reopen today.
