CHRISTMAS in the cells is on the cards for this Badvent suspect who is wanted on a warrant.

Day 13 of our crime crackdown features Derek Brady who was jailed for a knifepoint robbery and who is now wanted on recall to prison.

With links to Oxford, police officers want to hear from readers who might have seen him, or know where he is now.

On October 9, 2003, the 47-year-old threatened a petrol station cashier in Milton Keynes with a 10in kitchen knife, escaping with cash and a mobile phone.

Ten days later, Brady attacked a pizza restaurant manager with a knife in Milton Keynes.

The manager’s friends tackled the thug to the ground, but he was still left with a cut to his hand.

Brady was sent to prison for the violent crimes and has since been allowed out on licence.

But after being accused of breaching the terms of that licence and failing to turn up at court to explain himself, Brady has earned himself an arrest warrant, which the police want to execute by Christmas.

Det Insp Paul Miller said: “Brady was imprisoned for these offences and released on licence. After he breached the terms of his release and failed to appear at Oxford Crown Court on February 28 2011, there is now a warrant out for his arrest.

“Brady, who has links with Oxford, is white, 5ft 8in tall, slim, with blue eyes and light brown receding hair. He speaks with an Irish accent and sometimes has a beard. This photograph was taken in 2003.”
