A man was forced to flee his burning car after it hit a tree.
The 67-year-old’s silver Volkswagen Golf went up in flames just after 8.03am today on the A44, close to the junction with the A361.
A police spokesman said the driver was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment for suspected neck and back injuries and facial injuries.
