Natasha the cat is looking for a new home after she was dumped from a car in Banbury.

The kitten and another black-and-white cat were left on the roadside by a woman who stopped her silver car in Harlech Close and drove off without them.

Short-haired Natasha, who is six months old, is now being looked after by RSPCA volunteer Joan Howard, left, in Abingdon.

She said: “She’s doing okay, she likes to sit on the windowsill, but she’s a little bit unsettled.

“She can be quite a diva and likes a fair bit of attention.”

The other cat ran off after being dumped and has not been caught.

RSPCA trainee inspector Andy Eddy said: “I was totally shocked when I was told that someone had been seen driving along and then apparently dumped two cats in the middle of the street.

“We are really keen to find the other cat, which is believed to have an eye infection.”

Anyone who saw the woman abandoning the kittens at about midday on November 27 should call the RSPCA cruelty line on 0300 1234 999.

To give Natasha a home, call Joan Howard on 07887 475402.
