Clair Richardson, 38, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a bottle of brandy from Co-op in Botley on June 27; a bottle of Tudor Rose and a roast chicken from Tesco in Oxford on May 4; £16.02 of food from Martin’s in Botley on June 27; and household items valued at £3.53 from Martin’s in Botley on July 7. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation requirement and nine months’ supervision.

Moursidali Daoud-Aladine, 37, of Thames View, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Drayton Road, Abingdon, on October 2. Namely having 82 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 milligrammes. Fined £400, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Maryann Loughran, 40, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on November 2 and commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Parveen Akhtar, 40, of Mill Lane, Marston, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on July 31. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £40 costs.

James Bensley, 28, of Clark’s Row, Oxford, admitted shoplifting food valued at £5.47 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on November 15 and burgling Oxford Information Centre, in Broad Street, of clothes and a wallet valued at £290 on November 21. Jailed for two months.

Thomas Somerville, 35, of Champlain House, White City Estate, London, admitted making off without payment for £40.02 of fuel in Oxford on January 16. Fined £70, a £15 victims’ surcharge, £40 costs and £40.02 compensation.

Ryan Reseigh, 27, of Ablett Close, Oxford, admitted two counts of assault by beating in Oxford on August 29. Given an eight-week curfew and 12 months’ supervision. Told to pay £200 compensation and £85 costs.

Stacie Bilverstone, 34, of Hawksmoor Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Banbury Road, Oxford, and shoplifting four cans of Special Brew from Tesco in Oxford on September 16, and failing to surrender to court bail on October 6. Jailed for 14 days because “failure to surrender was intentional and delayed the proceedings, ninth conviction for failing to surrender”.

Treasure Lovette, 41, of Silver Road, Oxford, admitted fraud by false representation by claiming her car had been damaged overnight while left unattended. Told to pay £1,342 compensation.

Leslie Phillips, 61, of Pound Way, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on September 8. Conditionally discharge for a year and told to pay £120 costs.

Barry Osborne, 27, of Bernwood Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on May 15. Fined £75, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.
