W OXON: David Cameron paid a top lobbyist £137,500 for land neighbouring his home in Dean.
It has been disclosed that the Prime Minister and Witney MP, pictured, bought the land from Lord Chadlington, chief executive of one of the county’s top public relations companies and chairman of his constituency Conservative Association.
The peer and Huntsworth boss then donated the money back to the party.
Downing Street said the land had been valued by an independent surveyor before the transaction went through in July and the deal was cleared by senior civil servants.
