A WOMAN was driving home when she saw thieves making off in two of her family’s five cars after her Farnborough home was raided by burglars.

The stunned woman chased the men who had stolen a BMW and a black Mazda TS2 from the drive of her house on Monday morning.

The family’s Porsche was later found abandoned on the lawn with the engine running.

Sometime between 10am and 11.45am burglars smashed a rear kitchen window and then ransacked the Copperage Road property.

The gang took keys to the family’s five cars and also helped themselves to two Dell laptops one of which is a brown Dell Latitude and the other is a Dell Studio XPS, serial no NOUX13AL, two Omega watches and one Citizen watch. Gold jewellery including a gold ruby and diamond ring were also taken.

The victim spotted the a white lorry, the two stolen cars and a Mini being driven in the opposite direction and followed them as they drove into the entrance of Home Farm, Farnborough.

The black Mazda sped off and the BMW was abandoned with the driver escaping in a green Mini.

The driver of the Mazda is described as white, aged in his late teens or early 20s, clean shaven with short brown, spiky hair and of a slim build.

The driver of the BMW was white and is described as looking too young to drive. He had short very blond hair, clean shaven with a round face and was about 5ft 4ins tall of a stocky build. He was wearing dark navy blue tracksuit bottoms, light coloured, long sleeve top with a zip up the front.

The driver of the mini was white, aged about 35 and of large build with short, shaved hair thinning on the top.

Police believe that a white lorry, which was driving ahead of the stolen cars, was also involved in the burglary. The lorry driver was described as white, aged in his mid 30s, of a chunky build and wearing a balaclava.
