Chris Travis, 51, of no fixed address, admitted making off without payment for food valued at £17.85, entering a licensed premises while prohibited from doing so by the terms of an anti-social behaviour order and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on October 29. Jailed for 12 weeks due to “72 previous convictions spanning 128 offences which are dishonesty offences”.

Spencer Watts, 41, of Ireton Court, Thame, admitted failing to notify a change in circumstances in regard to a right to claim housing benefit in Thame between August 10, 2009, and November 2, 2009. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £350 costs.

Damian Malysa, 31, of Carlton Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Banbury Road, Oxford, on September 12. Namely having 84 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 milligrammes. Fined £300, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

Nathan Paige, 20, of Mereland Road, Didcot, admitted possession of cocaine (Class A), heroin (Class A) and cannabis (Class B) in Didcot on August 31. Told to go to an attendance centre for 36 hours and pay £85 costs.

Joseph Heaney, 25, of Broughton Road, Leicester, admitted making off without payment for £79.79 of fuel and possessing cloned number plates in Kidlington on May 23. Also admitted having an offensive weapon, namely a four-foot wooden pole, in Sherwood Place, Oxford, on September 20. Given 200 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £79.79 compensation and £170 costs.

David Murphy, 33, of Gordon Woodward Way, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on October 2. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Asad Khokhar, 24, of Kingsland Terrace, Pontypridd, Wales, admitted driving without due care and attention at Peartree Interchange. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given three penalty points.

Michal Panczyk, 26, of London Road, Newbury, admitted driving without due care and attention on the B4016 Drayton Road junction with Milton Road, Milton, on December 23, 2008. Also admitted driving without insurance. Fined £250, a £15 victims’ surcharge, £160 compensation and £65 costs. Given nine penalty points.

Derek Craik, 41, of Oxford Road, Frilford Heath, convicted of assault causing actual bodily harm in Longworth on June 27, 2010. Fined £2,500, a £15 victims’ surcharge, £800 costs and £1,500 compensation.

Sonny Lindo, 27, of Walton Well Road, Oxford, admitted stealing £120 from Corals bookmakers in Kidlington on June 1 and £74.81 from Stan James bookmakers in Broadway, Didcot on April 4 2010. Jailed for four months and ordered to pay £194.81.

Connor Dawson, 18, of Station Road, Didcot, admitted criminal damage of a vehicle on August 28. Ordered to pay £400 compensation to vehicle owner, given a community order and sentenced to 100 hours’ unpaid work.

Elizabeth Edwards, 33, of Daubeny Road, Oxford, admitted failing a drugs test by taking cocaine, committing a further offence while on a conditional discharge order and stealing food worth £6.52 from Tesco on January 25. Fined £150 and ordered to pay victims’ surcharge of £15 and £30 costs.

Nathan Humphreys, 20, of Mendip Heights, Didcot, admitted assaulting a man on July 13 in Didcot. Jailed for 17 weeks and ordered to pay £500 compensation to victim.

Nikolia Kudryavtsev, 47, of Horsepond Road, Reading, convicted of assault in Goring on January 15. Ordered to pay £75 compensation to the victim, £300 prosecution costs and discharged conditionally for 12 months.

Charlie Bishop, 23, of Henley Road, Sandford-on-Thames, fined £95 and ordered to pay compensation, costs and victims’ surcharge of £169 for fishing without a licence. Case proved in defendant’s absence.

Jonathan Collins, 22, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis on October 8. Discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay £20 costs.
