A SERIAL celebrity stalker has been jailed for again breaching a restraining order over “explicit” mail sent to a Big Brother winner.

Mark Taylor, who has convictions for sending mail to Lily Allen, Fearne Cotton and Meg Ryan, bombarded reality winner Kate Lawler with post.

The 49-year-old, of Salter Close, South Oxford, sent items to the winner of the 2002 show at Kerrang! Radio, in Birmingham, where she works as a DJ.

They included photos from the Daily Sport, a dictionary, a plate, a light-up child’s wand and ladies’ underwear.

They also included photograph of a couple’s feet in bed with “Mark” and “Taylor” written on the man’s and “Lawler” and a smiley face written on the woman’s.

The former postman was sentenced in November 2009 for sending three items to Lawler, one to Meg Ryan and one to Anne Robinson.

He was given a restraining order preventing him from contacting anyone with a media or entertainment profile.

But prosecutor Cathy Olliver said Taylor had been sending items to 31-year-old Lawler since March.

She said: “I think she’s probably simply had enough.

“She says she is distressed and frightened because she doesn’t know what his intentions are.

“Some of the items contain explicit pictures or messages.”

Clare Evans, defending, said: “He thinks that he is being humorous. Mr Taylor believes his communications are funny.”

Judge Anthony King said at Friday’s hearing at Oxford Crown Court: “These communications are wholly and utterly unacceptable.”

Miss Evans said an initial psychologist’s report suggested her client may have erotomania, a condition where the sufferer believes a person is in love with them.

She said another report offered Asperger syndrome as a possible cause, before a third and final doctor’s report suggested Taylor simply has “a bit of an odd personality”.

Miss Evans added: “He tells me with great vehemence he will not do it again.”

Taylor, who admitted one count of breaching a restraining order and has been on remand since August 31, was jailed for 240 days.

Judge King said: “I don’t pretend to know the answer to why you keep on doing this, but I certainly know that what you are doing is wholly unwelcome and fundamentally contrary to the order that is aimed to prevent you from this contact and making life for the person concerned a misery.”
