l AFTER reading the article in Saturday’s edition, I thought I would relate my own dissatisfaction with Greene King.

I had to play a pool match at a local Greene King pub and, as I was the driver, was only on soft drinks.

I asked for an orange J2O and was charged £1.85. A pint of beer was advertised at £2.00.

When I wrote to Greene King to ask why they were charging so much for a soft drink when they are supposed to be promoting responsible drinking, I received a letter back saying thst if I did not like their pricing structure I should not drink in their establishments.

This reply I found astounding in its arrogance and it shows Greene King’s total disregard for its clientele.

Therefore I can sympathise with the two landlords completely, as Greene King keep pricing local pubs out of existence.
