A newly-refurbished Cotswold boutique pub and restaurant has been put on the market.
The Swan at Ascott-under-Wychwood underwent comprehensive redevelopment in a programme that began in June 2007. But the business closed unexpectedly in June 2010.
It consists of a bar and restaurant areas, six refurbished bedrooms and owners’ accommodation.
Peter Brunt, director of agents Colliers International, said: “The Swan is a super pub. I handled the sale to our current client, and the transformation of what had been a rather rundown pub was quite extraordinary.
“The business traded for just over two years and did well, but my client is a property man rather than an operator and decided to shut the business last summer.
“Anybody visiting the Swan will immediately notice the quality of the work he carried out and recognise the possibilities the business offers.”
The property is available at an asking price of £695,000 for the freehold of the property.
