An art deco theme runs through Taylor Wimpey’s new four-bedroom showhome at The Cross in the centre of Banbury.
The three-storey house has a black-and-white colour theme on the ground floor and includes a kitchen/diner with French doors to the garden and a living room.
On the second floor is a double bedroom with an ensuite and two more bedrooms with a family bathroom, shower and bath.
Each of the bedrooms has an individual theme, one styled around a nursery rhyme and another high-tech gadgets and motorsport.
The master bedroom includes an ensuite and dressing area and continues the art deco theme with a four-poster bed and glass furniture.
Tristan Evans, of interior design company Show Business Interiors, said: “The Art Deco theme and vintage art work runs throughout the house, showing that a family home can be practical and stylish.
“The contemporary, art deco theme is an easy look to create. Glass and chrome furniture are easy to come by, so look out for angular furniture pieces and feature mirrors which will enhance the space of your rooms. To add that vintage flair, visit old antique shops and see what bargains and treasures you can find.”
The development includes three- and four-bedroom homes with prices starting from £380,000.
