IN regard to the Government’s plan to cut solar power subsidies (Oxford Mail, November 10, Solar Power “Eclipse”), I find it incredible that they are going to do so, as they pay subsidies to build useless windmills that will have doubtful benefits.

The only people or organisations to gain are the power companies.

Perhaps these same companies have learnt on the Government to make solar power more expensive for joe public.

It’s okay to subsidise big companies but not Joe Public who actually, as a taxpayer, is only getting his own money back via a subsidy on solar power.
