A MARTIAL arts group is fighting to raise cash for Save the Children with a morning of demonstrations and classes from local clubs.
Can Do Martial Arts has organised the gathering at the White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre in Abingdon from 9am to 1pm tomorrow.
The event, for both adults and children, will include 45-minute taster sessions in Karate, Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Tae Kwon Do.
Instructor Virginia Richardson, from Can Do Martial Arts, said: “Save the Children is a way for us to help children who are less fortunate, who don’t get the opportunities that we get and if we can help improve their lives it would be worthwhile.”
Participants are asked for a minimum donation of £5 on the day.
