WHEN Oxford Mail readers first heard that Oxford councils had been saving money in Icelandic banks, we were told that this was our housing tax money, so we’re paying too much.
So, seeing as how the councils are a non-profit making concern, it makes one wonder what the councils intend to do with this £21m, seeing as how they thought they had lost it all.
Does this mean that we could see our services being helped again, or has it already got it earmarked?
