A PRIMARY school was alive with The Sound of Music, above, as pupils hosted a family sing-along to the popular musical.
The event at Wantage Primary School was aimed at raising money for an electric piano for the school hall.
Music teacher Karen Wymbs said: “We had a really fun evening, singing our hearts out and wearing silly costumes. The choir led the singing with a beautiful, full sound and did us proud.
“We are thrilled with the amount we have raised and the generosity and support of our school community.”
In all, £116 was raised from ticket sales and £169.12 in donations.
Headteacher Phil Hibbs said: “Well done to everybody involved.”
