POSING nude for a charity calendar has become a real growth industry, but florists from Wallingford have pruned any photos that might offend.

Staff from Keri Harvey florists in Station Road and their friends bravely bared all to raise funds for the Sue Ryder hospice in Nettlebed.

Following the photoshoot last month, 250 of the calendars are now being printed and will be sold for £10 each.

Mum-of-one Alison Poffley, 35, from Didcot, pictured for January, said: “All the photos were taken on one day in October and we had a great laugh doing it.

“All the photos were taken in the florist’s shop and there were 12 women and six men taking part.

“The women feature in the shoots for January to November, while all the men are featured in the December picture.

“The calendar should go on sale in the shop by the end of month and we are hoping to raise more than £2,000 for the hospice.

“Keri bribed everyone with cakes and doughnuts to do the shoot and all the women had their hair and make-up done before posing for the photographers.

“My husband Ian, who is a mechanic, does some photography as a hobby so he took some of the photos.”
