Teenagers have tried their hands at ancient crafts and traditions at Cogges Manor Farm Museum in Witney.
The 14- to 17-year-olds spent the half term break building an outdoor kitchen out of wattle and daub at the Church Lane attraction.
They created the wattle and daub, built the structure and thatched the roof, while learning about foraging and outdoor skills.
The project was organised by Oxfordshire Youth Arts Partnership Trust and aimed to raise the youngster’s awareness of their heritage.
Kieran Dare, 17, of Bartlett Close, Witney – right with James Adam, 16 – said: “We learnt about building the house and about Roman and Saxon times. It was the first time I have done anything like it and it was a really good experience.”
