A PUB near Faringdon is the pride of Oxfordshire after being voted the Central Southern Region CAMRA pub of the 2011.
The Radnor Arms in Coleshill beat county champions from Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, and this is the third time in four years a White Horse Campaign for Real Ale branch pub has won the accolade.
Landlady Gemma Court, who rents the freehold from the National Trust, said: “It is very good news. It is all about running a good pub and having great staff and a good atmosphere. And also having a brewery on site does help.”
CAMRA presented the pub with its certificate yesterday.
It now goes on to compete against 15 other pubs from across the UK in CAMRA’s competition for its coveted national title.
