People convicted of offences at Magistrates' courts around the county recently BANBURY Juliet Cavanagh, 57, of Lyneham Road, Bicester, admitted shoplifting two bottles of white wine, a packet of Nurofen and a leg of lamb valued at £12.65 from Tesco in Pingle Drive, Bicester, on August 26. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Matthew O’Connor, 22, of Samuelson Court, Banbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards Pc Morgan and Pcso Capps in Banbury on September 14. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation order and nine months’ supervision. Told to pay £85 costs.

OXFORD James Butterworth, 32, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting beer valued at £5.49 from Marks & Spencer in Oxford on May 19 and commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Twelve-month conditional discharge.

Aron Gibson, 30, of Kibble Close, Didcot, admitted shoplifting an electric razor valued at £100 from Wilkinson in Didcot on September 28. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £100 compensation.
