SIR Jimmy Savile, the veteran broadcaster and charity fundraiser, has died, aged 84.
It is being reported today that he died at his home in Leeds, just two days before what would have been his 85th birthday.
Police had been called to his home just after midday. His death is not being treated as suspicious.
