A by-election will be held for Cherwell District Council and Bicester Town Council today.
The election for the district’s Bicester North Ward and the town council’s North Ward follows the death of sitting councillor Carol Steward.
Candidates for the district vote are: John Innes (Liberal Democrat); Melanie Magee (Conservative) and Kevin Walsh (Labour).
Candidates for the town poll are: John Innes (Lib Dem); Dave Magee (Cons); Kevin Walsh (Labour) and Tony Walton (Independent Against Bicester Eco Town).
Votes can be cast at Bure Park Community Hall and Southwold Community Centre from 7am to 10pm.
