Actor Simon Callow chatted and joked with fans last night as he signed copies of his new book.
My Life In Pieces is the 19th work by the stage and screen star, who is currently performing in Dr Marigold and Mr Chops by Charles Dickens at the Oxford Playhouse.
The book is the autobiographical tale of his life as an actor and the many stars he has met along the way. One of the fans Mr Callow met was 31-year-old Daniel Cairns, pictured, from North Oxford. He said: “He was lovely, just as I thought he would be.”
Mr Callow, who starred in Shakespeare in Love and Four Weddings and a Funeral, said: “I’ve been coming to Oxford for most of my working life and like many places it has changed, but I still very much enjoy it here.”
The one-man plays will be at the Playhouse until Saturday.
