THE immediate economic picture remains gloomy, but once again there is some optimism for the future with three announcements on the jobs front.
Close on 1,000 jobs are likely in the north of the county by the middle part of this decade and the news comes a month after the estimate of 8,400 in the south with the creation of an enterprise hub.
It shows there is still belief this county and its people are worth investing in.
