A WOMAN'S bag was snatched as she walked along an Oxford street late at night.
The 21-year-old victim was walking along Marsh Road, near the Marsh Harrier pub, Cowley, when the bag was snatched.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Kate Smith said: "The bag was later recovered and nothing had been taken."
The theft happened at 11.55pm on Friday.
The offender was a tall white man, aged 20, slim and was wearing a cap with short hair underneath, blue jeans, a white Nike T-shirt and trainers.
