Sir – Can I add my loud yawn to the chorus which must surely have greeted Michael Tyce’s letter last week about the poor summer and climate change. One poor summer in Oxfordshire does not mean that the loss of huge swathes of Arctic ice or the global retreat of glaciers isn't happening. As comedians Armstrong and Miller demonstrated on their TV show, a bit of rain does not mean that the massive changes we are all wreaking to our world are not happening.
