The Warden of All Souls College, Sir John Vickers, will head a new banking watchdog The five-strong panel at the Independent Commission on Banking will play a huge role in shaping the future of Britain’s bank sector.
The Government-appointed watchdog is made up of leading figures from across the financial and consumer sectors.
