Three people were arrested and 11 given temporary banning notices at the annual St Giles Fair.
Insp Martin Ford said: “Overall there were no significant incidents, issues or disorder. Three arrests were made which included one breach of bail, one public order offence from George Street and one racially aggravated common assault — relating to an incident at The Eagle and Child pub in St Giles.”
Officers issued 11 section 27s to ban troublemakers from the area for 24 hours.
