I AM sure that I must be writing on behalf of one hundred of us who had the real pleasure to be invited to the Wantage and Grove Lions club chicken and chips supper.
This wonderful event took place at the Hanney British Legion Hall, last Saturday.
The Lions not only served us all with a lovely meal, but also provided entertainment, bingo and a raffle, which we all truly deeply appreciated.
Thank you Lions for all you do and may you long continue with your wonderful work.
