l I READ the letter by Van Coulter, councillor for Barton and Sandhills (August 20), when he says officers would be pleased to meet with those involved in the petition concerning speed humps.
Well, I feel that we have already explained how we feel about leaving the humps in, by petitioning to have them removed.
This is after all a human rights issue. We have our human rights to work and make a living for ourselves and we also have our human rights to be able to sleep comfortably without a lot of noise keeping us awake.
Some of us work nights.
Anyway after 17 years of noise we, the residents, deserve that the humps be removed and give us peace of mind.
Thank you.
