Van Coulter, councillor for Barton and Sandhills, says council officers would be pleased to meet with those involved in a particular petition to discuss any issues about the speed humps in Barton (August 20).
Well I feel that we have already explained how we feel about leaving the humps in, by petitioning to have them removed.
This is after all a human rights issue. We have our human rights to work and make a living for ourselves and we also have our human rights to be able to sleep comfortably without a lot of noise keeping us awake.
Some of us work nights.
After 17 years of noise we, the residents, deserve that the humps be removed and give us peace of mind.
