Police were this morning quizzing a 35-year-old man in connection with an arson attack at a cottage in Sutton, near Witney.
Fire crews were called to the cottage at 1.40am on Saturday after reports of a blaze in a neighbouring workshop.
A woman who was in the cottage at the time managed to get out before the fire took hold.
Police have launched an investigation into the fire and are appealing for anyone with information which could help the inquiry to come forward.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson and is currently in police custody.
