The Oxford Mail accompanied the UK Border Agency on immigration raids earlier this week.
The team turned up at four Indian restaurants around the city to check on staff.
Two arrests were made and, it seems, there is little room for manoeuvre for those collared.
They have 72 hours to appeal and, if unsuccessful, could be on a plane out of the country within as little as a week.
It seems the Government is tough on people who enter the country and stay here illegally, which should put paid to those who moan that the UK is a soft touch.
