HAVING read recent stories in the Oxford Mail regarding the move to Brize Norton, I must ask why the need to transport these unlucky souls around the Oxfordshire countryside? Surely with the £2.5m being spent at Brize Norton, they could equip a room at the base, able to do whatever it is they do at the John Radcliffe, they could then be released to their families in a much shorter time.
Sadly seeing some of the horrific injuries that their comrades have suffered and survived there surely is no need for these poor souls to be subject to any cause of death examination.
