An elderly man was airlifted to hospital yesterday following an accident involving a car and a mobility scooter.
The accident happened on the B4009 Oxford Road at the junction with Hollandtide Lane, near RAF Benson, at about 1.15pm. The pensioner was treated for head, back and neck injuries.
