A 40-year-old woman and an 11-year-old boy handed themselves in to police after an anonymous appeal for information.
The pair have now been arrested on suspicion of theft in connection with an incident in Templar’s Square, Cowley, on August 10. The cryptic appeal was pinned up in the shopping centre after cash and phone calling cards were stolen from a stall. It announced that CCTV footage had been handed to the police.
