A 20-year-old woman punched a man who tried to grab her in East Oxford.
The victim was walking along Meadow Lane at about 9.15pm on Wednesday when she became aware of someone following her, police said.
She changed direction but was then pushed from behind against a wall and grabbed by her right arm.
She punched the man and ran off. The man was about 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, with a croaky voice.
