Here's my reason why rioting has happened and caused so much devastation to so many lives: a meaning for life.

The violence on the streets is a warning that people are growing tired of these cutbacks, cutting too fast and deep.

As for the riots and young people, they appear to have a growing unrest. Attacking the towns and police is their way of showing their resentment.

I feel this is where danger lies. We appear to be drifting under a cloud of depression which is spreading into our lives, with no way out to be seen or any hope for the future which is affecting us all – but especially the young people, who can’t seem to realise that hitting out and hurting others will only divide us further when we should be working together more as one to give our lives meaning again.
