GUYS and Dolls from across Oxfordshire are treading the boards for a summer production of the much loved musical.
About 150 youngsters are performing the hit gambling-themed show at The New Theatre in George Street, Oxford. The musical opened last night and runs until tomorrow.
Katy Donnelly said: “I love the stage and this is my fourth time in a live show.”
The St Helen & St Katharine School, Abingdon, pupil said: “I would definitely consider a career in drama, although it is a very challenging area to get into.”
Producer Kerry Arnold said nearly all who attended auditions got a part.
She said: “They are having a blast. It is great because they come in not knowing anyone and come out with 20 new friends.”
