Tubney Woods: Hi-tech firm Oxford Instruments Magnetic Resonance has appointed Tony Bosley as general manager.

He joins from High Wycombe-based e2v Scientific Instruments, which specialises in the design, development and production of high resolution x-ray detectors for materials analysis. He was managing director.

Charles Holroyd, group business development director, said: “Tony has a wealth of experience in growing and sustaining profits.”

Mr Bosley began his career with an apprenticeship in mechanical engineering at AEA Harwell before moving to the Lasers division at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratories supporting research experimentation in electro-optics.
