THE ACTORS in Creation Theatre Company’s latest production have been making themselves at home over the past few weeks.

While performing Antony and Cleopatra in the rooftop Amphitheatre at the Said Business School, the cast have been decorating sheds set up to act as dressing rooms.

Some of the decorations include fairy lights, poems, roses and retro posters.

Lucy-Anne Holmes, who plays Charmian, said: “I think somebody mentioned we could decorate them and it planted a seed.

“I think I am in the winning shed with Cleopatra. It has fairy lights, fabric and a sense of oppulence.”

The huts are shared between pairs and this has inspired a competition between the actors for who can decorate the best shed.

This in turn has led to Creation offering two free tickets to the theatre-lover who sends the best item for the actors to decorate their sheds with.

Entries should be addressed to: Creation Theatre Company, 3rd floor Cherwell House, 1-5 London Place, Oxford, OX4 1BD.

A winner will be named by Thursday, August 25.
