THE Mad Hatter and the March Hare put in an appearance at an Oxfordshire farm.
Both popular characters were retelling their experiences of meeting Alice when she visited Wonderland in a performance by The Deck Theatre Company.
They were telling stories about the famous tea party and the lobster quadrille as well as trying to find out who stole the Queen’s tarts.
The interactive performance at Foxbury Farm, Brize Norton, was interactive and featured games for the onlooking youngsters.
Director Tania Higgins, who was the March Hare, said: “They absolutely enjoyed it. The performance was a little bit different.”
Rebecca Dawes, of Foxbury Farm, said: “Deck put together this performance to take place in outdoor locations and with the holidays in full swing it was a good time to do it.
“We had between 40 and 50 children here at any one time.”
