WEST OXON: Councillors will decide today if 496 service personnel homes can be built in Carterton.
The homes will be built for personnel moving to RAF Brize Norton from RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire, which is due to close.
They will be built on land known as Reema Central, between Stanmore Cresc-ent and Brize Norton Road.
West Oxfordshire District Council’s lowland area planning subcommittee will decide on the plans from 2pm.
The meeting will also decide on plans to build 15 homes in Crawley Road, Witney and four two-storey car parks at RAF Brize Norton.
