NO one can pull the wool over these children’s eyes because there is definitely fun to be had at Modern Art Oxford this week.

Around 20 children brought their adults to the Family Activity Week on Tuesday to take a slightly different look at the gallery’s latest exhibition.

Inspired by the art of Haegue Yang, the action-packed week included a knitting session.

Sarah Plum, of Modern Art Oxford, said: “Families and children can drop in, explore, discover and play.”

The session was led by Jo Watkins of Oxford haberdashery Darn It and Stitch in Blue Boar Street.

Jo, pictured with Freya Rhays-Lodwick, said: “A lot of the adults got stuck in and they left being able to knit.

“It is very therapeutic.”

Whatever the children knit will be contributed towards a fabric den. There are also blinds and a light tunnel for the children to explore.

The free events run every day between noon and 4pm until Sunday.
