Kai Mansberger, who died in 2004 at 23, left a collection of short stories and poems on his laptop, which have been issued as Seeing the Invisible by mental health publisher Chipmunk. A former pupil of Isis Middle School and Cheney in Oxford, he studied English literature and film at the University of Wales, Bangor, and was a songwriter and composer, as well as a student of martial arts, Japanese, philosophy, physics, maths and computer programing.
