YOUR front page story of July 27, "We’ve been let down", carries one family’s message to Oxfordshire County Council after a hospital bed-block nightmare.
On page two, under the heading Wife: I want some answers, the ending paragraph reads “last night county council leader Mr Mitchell was unavailable for comment”.
This popular and regularly used statement appears to signify a cop-out by Mr Mitchell when criticism is aimed at him, yet he is always available to criticise his opponents. RAY HOLTON Kingsclere Road Bicester
