THE funeral of popular Bicester town and district councillor Carol Steward will take place in Garth Park, on Friday, August 12, at 11am.
The park will be closed to the public while the service takes place. Mrs Steward’s son Daniel said anyone who knew her was welcome to go along.
There would be a collection in her memory for the clinical haematology ward at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford, which cared for Mrs Steward, instead of flowers.
