CHILDREN showed they really gave a hoot at an event for charity at St Gregory the Great School in Cowley.
The charity football tournament and fun day was organised for the Oxford Children’s Hospital by grateful dad Amber Ghulam.
He helped plan the day, with Oxford Charity Fun Days, as a thank you after the hospital helped save his daughter Isha when she had life-threatening pneumonia.
Isha, now 20 months, went on to make a full recovery.
Mr Ghulam said: “We’re shattered now but it was all worth it.”
Mr Ghulam’s nephew Hasan Masood, 13, right, held barn owl Finlay, pictured with Alan Charlett of Al’s Owls.
He said: “I loved it. ”
